Readers Club of College Library, Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Chandigarh organised Library Awareness Day. The event commenced with the inauguration of Book Donation Box by college Principal, Dr. Ajay Sharma. The Book Donation Box promotes the paradigm of the Library of ethics. Dr. Ajay Sharma appreciated the great initiative by Readers Club. In his speech, he emphasized the role of libraries in a students’ life. He said, a healthy library is a sign of healthy education.
To conclude the event, Library Head, Dr. Gurpreet Singh, gave an official vote of thanks to the club members. He distributed the library merchandise to inculcate the reading habits in the students and college faculty members.
